I'm a versatile professional, combining a Master's degree in Urban Affairs from Queens College - CUNY, a Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies from John Jay College of Criminal Justice - CUNY, with hands-on experience in information technology, audio engineering, music production, and photography. This blend of analytical rigor and creative expression allows me to effectively deconstruct complex problems and develop innovative ways to inform and uplift communities. I'm deeply passionate about empowering citizens through clear, equitable access to knowledge, believing that an informed public is the bedrock of a thriving society. I actively utilize my diverse strengths in my current position with the City of New York.
Mission
To simplify access to open civic data, transforming complex and often inaccessible public information into a clear, understandable, and actionable resource for everyone. By providing an intuitive and user-friendly experience, we empower individuals to easily explore and utilize civic information.
Development Tools
The project was built with the Python programming language, Django web framework, SQLite a lightweight relational database and Pandas a data analysis library.
